Raised in - Corpus Christi, TX (attended Tuloso-Midway High School)
Currently live in - Deer Park, Texas - La Porte School district where I substitute
teach when time allows.
Marital Status - I am married to Kristi, have two daughters Erika (24), and Allison (17),
and Erika just gave me a beautiful grandbaby boy, Erik Allen (1).
Favorite food - Oriental. My favorite being sushi
Favorite color - My favorite colors often change –right now I think it would be yellow.
Favorite sport - Watching Allison play Volleyball, other than that, I am a huge Houston
fan. Go Astros , Rockets, and Texans! I like to play golf (I suck), Frisbee Golf (I am pretty darn good for being
44) and Foosball (old hippie).
Favorite thing to do on your time off - I love to fish and I love to cook, which I
think cooking fish would be my favorite thing to do on my time off. Also, hanging with me dogs Solo and Presley.
Favorite drink (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) - Bud Light (I bet you saw that coming) and
iced tea mixed with lemonade (sugar free).
What instrument, besides the one that you play on stage, do you know how to play?
Tuba in High School and enough chords on guitar to get me in trouble, I really suck.
On the rare occassion that you have some free time, is there any Texas artist/band that you try
to get out to see? Blue October is one of my favorite bands. I have had Eli Young Band and Mickey and
the Motorcars in my CD player for the last month. David Lee Garza y Los Musicales ( I am a big Tejano fan), and who doesn’t
love Willie Nelson.
